Step outside the ordinary breakfast in bed gesture, and bring on the morning with chocolate!Â This recipe is super simple, only has 5 ingredients (raspberries, strawberries, a dash of maple syrup, cocoa and almond milk), and can be made in less than 10 minutes!
The thickness of this smoothie comes from the frozen fruit. The night before, wash the berries and place them in an air tight container in the freezer. In the morning place them in a blender with the cocoa, a dash of maple syrup, and almond milk, and blend until smooth!

- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 1 – 2 teaspoons maple syrup
- 1 – 2 cups almond milk
- Add raspberries, strawberries, cacao powder 1 teaspoon maple syrup, and 1 cup almond milk to blender.
- Add milk ½ cup at a time and remaining maple syrup to reach desired consistency and sweetness.
